Job summary

MW_enterprise is seeking a Floor Care Technician for the Navy Yard site in Washington, DC. Core hours are 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday in a full-time role. Starting pay is $20.77 per hour and US Citizenship is required.

Pre-employment criminal background checks and drug testing are required. The duties include cleaning floors and carpets, waxing and buffing floors, and maintaining all cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Floor care experience is required.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops hallways, offices, and stairs.
• Waxes and buffs floors with prescribed buffers.
• Strips and waxes floors.
• Shampoos rugs and carpets.
• High dusting/cleaning of offices, hallways and stairs.
• Performs general cleaning tasks including trash/recycling, glass cleaning and restroom cleaning.
• Prepares and mixes cleaning solutions and maintains equipment.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
