Job summary

CSI International Inc is seeking a Floor Care Technician for the evening shift in Trenton, NJ. This part-time role focuses on keeping floors clean across offices and common areas, including dusting, mopping, waxing, and carpet care.

You will operate floor machines and use PPE when handling chemicals. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and proven floor maintenance experience; knowledge of cleaning equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.
• Proven floor maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Operating floor equipment including extractors and buffing machines.
• Use hand and power tools such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, mops, floor strippers.
• Inspect floors for any damage and carrying out minor repairs.
• Measuring chemicals correctly.
• Operating chemical dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by your supervisor.
• Special projects as designated by supervisor.
• Carpet care, shampoo, and other related carpet services.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
