Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Floor Technician in Monroe, LA for part-time evening shifts (5:00 pm–10:30 pm). Prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care equipment are required. The role involves operating industrial floor care machinery and performing floor surface maintenance and restoration.

Location is Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe, with benefits typical to part-time roles and opportunities for growth within the Environmental Services division.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
