Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring Floor Technician in Milwaukee for full-time and part-time shifts. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with a 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm schedule and 1–2 years of prior experience preferred.

The position offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour and requires lifting up to 50 lbs. This role is part of Compass Group's TouchPoint Services serving hospitals across the U.S., with competitive benefits for full-time

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
