Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable individual to clean and maintain carpet and hard surface floors at our Bastrop, TX site. The role involves following chemical safety procedures and coordinating with supervisors to ensure premises are well-kept.

The position offers on-the-job training with no formal education requirements and welcomes candidates returning to the workforce. Evening hours from 6pm to 2:30am are included, with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: Customer service experience, 1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Notify Manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers.
• Comply with safety, security, quality standards and procedures.
