Job summary

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor care, cleaning, and sanitation in senior living communities. Responsibilities include scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and operating auto-scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums to maintain hallways and common areas.

The role may involve assisting with room cleaning and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for residents; the 3p–11p shift is required, with flexibility for additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of floor care experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of floor maintenance: waxing, buffing, carpet extraction.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care: scrubbing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, buffing hard surfaces.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment (auto-scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums).
• Maintain carpets: vacuuming, shampooing, deep extraction as needed.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, assist with room cleaning when required.
