Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a General Cleaner to perform routine custodial cleaning that maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment in Washington, DC. You will handle cleaning of offices, common spaces, restrooms, and work areas after daily business operations end.

Responsibilities include cleaning kitchens, applying safety procedures, and reporting hazards. A DoD Secret or higher clearance is required or obtainable, with U.S. citizenship. Must pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to obtain/retain DoD Secret or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchens.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Wipe down desks, counters, tables, doors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies.
• Perform basic floor care tasks.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Secure building doors and ensure areas are ready for the next business day.
