Job summary

ESFM USA at Baxter Skaneateles - 4341 State Street Road, Skaneateles Falls, NY 13153 is seeking a full-time Janitor. The role includes keeping buildings clean and orderly with heavy cleaning duties and infection-control adherence. Schedule is 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm and online applications are accepted.

Required: at least 1 year of cleaning experience. Fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.

At least 1 year of cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
Dusts and mop floors following approved procedures.
Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
Cleans assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
Performs other duties as assigned.
