Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform cleaning tasks safely.
• Ability to sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Must follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Trash & waste management: collect trash from classrooms, offices and common spaces, empty into dumpsters daily.
• Daily floor care: sweep, mop and keep floors dry and safe.
• Restroom sanitation: clean toilets, sinks, counters and stock supplies.
• Surface cleaning: wipe woodwork, doors, high touch surfaces, and spills.
• Glass/window care: clean interior glass, mirrors and entry windows as needed.
• Supply stocking: keep housekeeping cart stocked with supplies.
• Equipment use: operate floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment.
• Respond to cleaning calls promptly and assist with incidents as needed.
• Outdoor area cleaning and general housekeeping duties as assigned.
