Job summary

DP World in Perris, CA is seeking a 2nd shift Transportation Coordinator to join our growing team. This role focuses on ensuring material availability for export, managing supplier relations, and coordinating parts flows to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication at all levels within the company and with customers.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAP in supply chain functions is preferable.
• Material flow analysis and inventory management skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a deck of parts and suppliers to ensure material availability for export to end customer on time.
• Escalate the daily part risk status to the supervisor and follow escalation procedures, including Hot Parts List.
• Support emergency parts process to cover export requirements and organize Premium Freight with the customer provider.
• Investigate and respond to issues flagged by stores operatives, including stock losses and quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain KPI data supporting departmental objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
