Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Palm Beach in Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping for a per diem evening shift. Compensation is $18 per hour.

As part of a critical illness recovery hospital, you will maintain a clean, safe environment across patient rooms, offices, lounges and common areas, following established schedules and infection-control practices to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators and lobby areas.
• Ensure sanitation, order and appearance of the hospital.
• Perform light manual housekeeping tasks on established schedules and procedures.
• Clean areas by washing furnishings, floors and equipment with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Use dust cloths and vacuum to dust window sills, blinds, floors and furniture; manage trash and rearrange furnishings.
• Make beds with clean linen; clean sinks, tubs and mirrors; replenish supplies.
