Job summary

Fairview Range is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join the Housekeeping Department in Hibbing, MN. You will provide an outstanding level of cleaning quality in assigned areas, following department procedures to maintain a clean work environment.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and strict adherence to safety and infection control standards. Evening shift with 72–80 hours every two weeks and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral directions.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to function well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, write and add numbers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding cleaning quality in assigned areas per procedures and protocols.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate safety, emergency, and security protocol knowledge.
• Handle and dispose of waste according to proper procedures.
• Manage linen, supplies, and par levels; document weights and delivery procedures.
• Demonstrate infection control standards and hand hygiene practices.
• Remain flexible to changes in assignments and tasks.
