Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Two years of Environmental Services, janitorial, or customer service experience may be accepted in lieu of high school diploma applies to grandfathered internal only.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and execute written instructions in English
• Customer service, hospitality, and/or healthcare related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients and staff
• Operate cleaning equipment and adhere to the 7-Step Cleaning Procedure
• Respond quickly to patient discharge room cleaning requests
• Report task status to Environmental Services Supervisor
• Assist co-workers and contribute to process improvements
• Ensure safety and infection control practices are followed
