Job summary

MVHC is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist to perform custodial duties across medical offices, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation to health codes. The role supports infection control, restocks supplies, and collaborates with staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Afternoon shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) with full-time benefits. Physical stamina and the ability to work non-traditional hours are required, with exposure to cleaning chemicals managed under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial/cleaning roles preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, and scrubs floors with cleaning equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, offices and exam rooms.
• Sanitizes surfaces and follows infection control precautions.
• Restocks supplies and reports maintenance issues.
