Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) in the Southern Tier of New York seeks an ED Nurse Supervisor for the Evening shift at UHS Wilson Medical Center. You will supervise nursing, technical and support staff, coordinate daily operations around the clock, and collaborate with the Nurse Manager to implement policies and ensure high standards of care.

This role emphasizes quality of nursing services and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BSN; Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred: Previous leadership experience.
• Current NYS RN license; CPR within 3 months; specialized certification within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing, technical and support staff.
• Coordinate daily ED operations, 24 hours a day.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager to implement policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards of care and nursing practice.
• Monitor and improve quality of nursing services.
