Job summary

Alpine School District in Shelley, Idaho seeks an Education Support Professional - Custodial/Sweeper to operate part-time custodial duties at the campus. The role features 3 hours per day from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of $13.71 to $16.82, depending on qualifications and experience.

The main responsibility is cleaning bathrooms daily, ensuring a sanitary, safe environment for students, staff, and visitors while preparing the site for classroom activities and campus

Qualifications

• Experience with basic custodial tasks in school facilities.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to perform site maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site snow removal to ensure access and safety.
• Clean assigned facilities and grounds to maintain sanitary, safe, and attractive environments.
• Prepare site for daily operations (opening gates, raising flags, sweeping walkways).
• Replenish classroom and restroom supplies to ensure adequate quantities.
• Secure facilities and grounds to minimize damage and liability.
• Support other site maintenance staff for custodial activities.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.
