Job summary

AFRICAN CAREGIVERS LLC is looking for a compassionate and dependable female Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Gloucester Township, NJ. You will provide one-on-one support to a 22-year-old woman with autism, helping her become more independent in her community.

The position offers $22 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required, along with the ability to assist with daily living activities and community outings.

Qualifications

• Female caregiver preferred based on the client's care needs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.
• Assist with community outings and social engagement.
• Safely transport the client to appointments.
• Encourage client independence and skill development.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Complete required documentation accurately.
