Job summary

Clayton is seeking a full-time linchpin for interior door assembly at our Morristown facility, joining a team focused on quality and efficiency. You will feed door frame parts, operate glue and trim machines, and move between departments to meet production needs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience or similar environment.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.).
• Stable work history with prior employers.
• Versatility to transfer between departments as needed.
• Ability to walk, climb and lift at least 50 lbs and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Help in the assembly of interior doors to supply Clayton Home Building facilities.
• Feed door frame parts through a glue machine.
• Lay door frame parts on door panel and set top panel in place.
• Prepare work station by organizing materials by customer order.
• Operate machines in trim, machining, and painting process of interior door assembly.
• Move to different departments to assist when short staffed.
• Work in team environment to meet production needs and conform to quality standards.
