Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–2 years in warehouse distribution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Experience with MS Excel and MS Word is required.
• Attention to detail in handling alpha and numerical data.
• Knowledge of key corporate business systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading of freight as part of dock operations.
• Act as a backup to the supervisor, ensuring correct freight is loaded timely.
• Monitor loading quality of trailers and meet out-cut times.
• Coordinate with the supervisor to swap trailers as needed.
• Organize freight, information, and personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Support closeout preparation of a trailer and ensure pallet accountability.
• Wrap and stage pallets for shipment preparation.
• Operate a forklift for staging and loading when required.
