Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional for a part-time Tuesday and Wednesday 4pm–10pm shift in Montgomeryville, PA. You’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and community engagement.

You will advocate for rights, assist with daily living, and maintain compassionate, patient care under supervision, with training provided and state-compliant medication assistance when required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Ability to follow state laws and regulations (e.g., medication administration).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and promote health and safety.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals to make choices.
• Facilitate community engagement and accompany individuals to work, recreation, and social events.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Assist with personal care tasks and light household chores.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow established guidelines to ensure high-quality care.
