Job summary

Delta-T Group Western Penna., Inc. is seeking Direct Support Aides/Caregivers for the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) in Fairview, PA 16415. Join a team providing support in group homes and day programs, with opportunities to supplement your income.

You will assist adult residents with behavioral health challenges, support daily activities, meal prep, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old with 1 year paid experience providing direct care.
• Ability to complete and/or produce required clearances (Physical/TB screening, CPR/First Aid, PA State criminal Background, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be reliable & dependable with both the care you provide as well as attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassion and emotional support to adult residents with behavioral health challenges, brain and spinal cord injury.
• Ensure activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth.
• Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform for themselves such as meal preparation, cooking, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping, monitoring and redirecting residents, as needed.
