Job summary

Beverwyck, part of the St. Peter’s Health Partners family, seeks compassionate and professional Wait Staff for its dining team in a part-time, evening-shift role.

You will provide friendly table service, communicate specials, and ensure rooms are welcoming and well-set in a restaurant-style setting for residents. Pay range is $16.20–$23.50 per hour, based on experience and education, with flexible scheduling options and meal benefits after shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred (especially in hospitality or healthcare settings).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level.
• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes.
• Communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically.
• Ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly.
• Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room.
• Maintains high standards for personal appearance and hygiene.
• Follows all food service department policies and safety rules.
