Job summary

Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor is seeking Dining Assistants/Servers for part-time roles within Trinity Health Senior Communities. The positions cover mornings for the 6am-2pm schedule and afternoons for 3pm-8pm or 4pm-8pm, ensuring timely, appetizing meals and proper table settings for residents.

The team provides on-the-job training, with preferred experience in food service and geriatric care, and emphasizes clear English communication to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided, previous experience in food service preferred.
• Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
• Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to follow oral and written English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals timely that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Performing proper setting of tables.
• Serving resident meals in the dining room, private dining room and/or delivering trays to resident’s rooms/apartments.
