Job summary

Manchester Rehab & Healthcare is seeking dedicated Dietary Aides for evening shifts to join our resident-focused dietary team. If you're reliable, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a healthcare kitchen environment – we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep and meal delivery, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to rooms, and helping with tray setup. You will also maintain sanitation, stock supplies, and support kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Friendly demeanor and effective communication skills.
• Ability to read, follow instructions, and interact professionally.
• Capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and performing physical tasks.
• Prior food service or dietary aide experience preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery
• Set up and clean dining areas, ensuring sanitation standards are met
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and assist with tray setup
• Wash dishes, discard food waste, and take out trash
• Follow dietary cards, portioning guidelines, and special diet requirements
• Support cooks and dietary managers with kitchen tasks
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory
• Clean and help maintain kitchen equipment
• Attend required training, meetings, and in-services
