Job summary

The Dietary Aide will assist with food prep, tray service, and kitchen organization while collaborating with the team on special meals and events. Flexible scheduling and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, meats, and fruits.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
• Assist with tray service, including setting up trays with meals, drinks, and snacks.
• Monitor and manage inventory of food and supplies, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the management team.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare special meals and events for residents.
• Ensure that all dietary restrictions and preferences are taken into account when preparing meals.
• Dietary Aide will also be responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the management team.
