Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with safety standards. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with focus on quality imaging and patient-centered care.

The candidate should graduate from an ARRT-recognized program, be registered or registry-eligible, and possess or obtain NJ licensure. Ongoing training and adherence to department procedures are expected to ensure excellence in radiology

Qualifications

Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program.
Must pass registry within 1 year of hire.
NJ staff must have current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.

Responsibilities

Identifies patient and exam, performs diagnostic radiographic procedures with quality care.
Ensures technical continuity of care and education of radiological procedures to patients.
Demonstrates competency in RIS/HIS modules relevant to the job.
Collects data for Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement program.
Maintains availability of equipment and supplies for the assigned area.
Adheres to downtime procedures to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Pursues ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Provides education to patients about their examination.
Participates in annual peer review of films and relevant background information.
