Job summary

As part of the deli team, you will greet guests, prepare products, maintain freshness and sanitation, and assist with receiving and stocking while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and provide friendly service.
• Prepare deli products for sale (frying, slicing, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product levels, quality and freshness.
• Keep cooler, freezer, prep and sales areas sanitary.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Report temperature issues to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and tidy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Support front porch duties to ensure guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Assist with product receiving and storage.
