Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst - Evenings to join our team in Tysons, VA. The role monitors Air Gapped Security Fabrics through SECOPs tools, performing event analysis and incident response within a 24x7 Operations Center.

The position requires a High School Diploma with 3+ years in Security Operations or related fields, and active 8140/CompTIA Security+. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's in IT/CS, SOC experience, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, and/or Systems Administration.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS, EDR, and Case Management Tools.
• Experience with supporting operating systems, networking, scripting and automation, and Security Application troubleshooting.
• Active 8140 Certification, Comptia Security +.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Operations Center IT infrastructure for a 24x7 SECOPs function.
• Perform event analysis within SIEM and develop response tickets in case management tooling.
• Troubleshoot with Tier 2 Analysts and follow security playbooks for environments.
• Drive enhanced security posture through detections and response.
• Maintain a customer-first attitude and support shifts as needed.
