Job summary

Circle K in Broadview Heights, Ohio is hiring for a part-time associate to support evenings shifts (weekdays and weekends). You will greet customers, ring up sales, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, handle cash, and ensure accurate register procedures. Strong communication, reliability, and basic arithmetic are required; prior retail experience is preferred and high school diploma or GED is desired. The role offers an opportunity to join a busy convenience store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed above.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Responsibilities

• Customer Satisfaction: Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Facility Condition: Maintains store facility’s condition and equipment to standards through cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Merchandising: Completes build-to’s, verifies deliveries, maintains stock and signage.
• Sales Controls: Assists in maintaining inventory levels and shift audits.
• Financial Controls: Monitors shift sales, cash handling, and end-of-shift procedures.
• Staffing Controls: Supervises staff in absence of Store Manager and supports training.
