Job summary

Elma School District is accepting applications for an Evening Custodian at Elma Elementary and Middle Schools. This temporary position covers a leave, with 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, splitting time between the Elementary and Middle Schools.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Washington driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Salary starts at $26.76 per hour with updates forthcoming per the EESP schedule for 2026-2027; benefits include sick leave accrual

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• WSP/FBI fingerprint clearance (employee cost).
• Good communication with supervisors, staff, students, and community.
• Ability to perform custodial duties and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties for Elma Elementary & Middle Schools.
• Work Mon–Fri, 8 hours per day, 4 hours at each school.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, follow district policies.
• Collaborate with school staff and administration.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks with quality.
