Job summary

ISD 15 St. Francis is seeking individuals to join our District Custodian Substitute List (on-call and at-will). Under the Night Lead Custodian, you will perform general cleaning duties to ensure a safe and well‑maintained learning environment for students and staff.

Typical hours are 2:30pm–11:00pm or 3:30pm–12:00am, with pay at $19.00 per hour. This position is not benefits eligible. Equal opportunity employer; accommodations available for applicants with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Push/pull while lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of modern cleaning procedures including floor care and restroom cleanliness.
• Preference for light repair tasks (desks, chairs, bulbs, etc.).
• Class C boiler license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general cleaning duties to maintain a well‑kept, safe learning environment.
• Work under the Night Lead Custodian and be on the Substitute List (on-call, at-will).
• Perform duties during evening hours (typically 2:30pm–11:00pm or 3:30pm–12:00am).
• Note: this position is not benefit eligible.
