Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and safe work practices related to custodial work.
• Ability to learn and follow established cleaning methods and schedules; use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently; make minor non-technical repairs; work independently; follow simple directions; and cooperate with others.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, halls, and other rooms; arrange furniture; sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Dust, wash, and sanitize surfaces; maintain restrooms and common areas.
• Secure buildings and report safety hazards; operate district vehicle; supervise student helpers.
