Job summary

AOS Staffing is seeking a reliable custodian for a temporary assignment in Missouri. The role ensures cleanliness and safety across multiple facilities, maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include restroom sanitation, floor care, waste management, room setups, and operating cleaning equipment. The position runs Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and end date January 2027.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check.
• TB test clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms following established procedures
• Dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers
• Assist with room setups for meetings, classrooms, and events
• Strip, buff, and apply finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums
• Wash walls and equipment; use ladders as needed
• Lock and unlock buildings; ensure facilities are secured when not in use
