Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-5.
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c.
• Meet the WV Code 18A-4-8b qualifications and state-approved competency tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular attendance.
• Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment, etc. in the building.
• Cleans classrooms, offices, libraries, restrooms, and common areas, including dusting and trash.
• Performs minor maintenance and repairs, secures building, maintains supplies and equipment.
• Reports safety hazards and assists in special events or presentations.
• Assists with supervising custodial staff as head custodian if applicable.
