Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, seeks a full-time janitor at Aurora University in Aurora, IL. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 4:15 pm to 12:45 am, with responsibilities including routine cleaning, floor care, and trash removal to maintain a safe, clean campus environment.

Prior custodial experience is required, and the position offers a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and same-day pay options to support our employees’

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, walls, glass and rubbish removal.
• Dusts, damp mops and sanitizes surfaces following procedures.
• Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning and places items back correctly.
• Follows eight-step cleaning procedures and infection control plans.
• Complies with all federal, state and county guidelines.
