Job summary

GSF USA is seeking a full-time, non-exempt janitorial team member to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks at our Indianapolis location. The role involves cleaning restrooms, offices, classrooms, breakrooms, and common areas while maintaining established safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of following written and verbal instructions. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided on procedures and

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the assigned work location.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Previous commercial cleaning, custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, classrooms, breakrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain floors and other building surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Restock restroom, breakroom, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond to routine cleaning requests, spills, and other facility service needs.
• Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment and use cleaning products in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, work orders, and customer expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
