Job summary

Lancaster City Schools is seeking a Custodian for Tarhe Trails Elementary in Lancaster, Ohio. The position covers the 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm shift, Monday through Friday, as part of the school’s custodial team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior custodian experience, with the ability to organize work efficiently and pass custodial and job-fit tests. This is a full-time classified position within the district's Human Resource Services.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or possess an equivalent.
• Prior work experience as a custodian preferably as a substitute custodian with the Lancaster City Schools
• Have the ability to organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Pass required Custodial and Job Fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties at Tarhe Trails Elementary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the school during the 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift.
• Work Monday through Friday as part of the custodial team.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment for students and staff.
