Job summary

HES is seeking an Evening Custodian to support our facilities management for educational environments. No prior experience required; pay rate based on role and responsibilities. This position involves cleaning, window care, restrooms, and basic maintenance tasks on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and comprehend at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group.
• Willingness to learn and meet job requirements.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, and interior fixtures.
• Wash interior/exterior windows and doors.
• Empty trash and maintain entrances; restrooms upkeep.
• Change light bulbs reachable from ladder; notify management of repairs.
• Move and arrange furniture for events as needed.
• Assist with snow/ice removal when required.
