Job summary

Amy’s Kitchen is hiring for a 3rd shift kitchen role at White City, Oregon. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30pm–4:30am, with every-other weekend. Pay is $20.00/hr plus $1.00/hr for 2nd shift, totaling $21.00/hr, with on-the-job training and a robust benefits package.

Location is White City; you will follow standard procedures to ensure ingredient quality and batch consistency. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and GMP compliance, with growth opportunities available onsite.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to three-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a math test.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Must be able to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a literacy test.

Responsibilities

• Follow good work habits, adherence to procedures, company rules and safety practices.
• Report inventory shortages, problems with raw materials or quality/sensory deviations to the Team Lead/Kitchen Manager.
• Perform cooking and batching of all recipes according to standard procedures and batch sheet instructions.
• Check ingredients and in-process foods for correct texture, taste, smell and appearance; report variances.
• Ensure batch sheets contain accurate lot numbers, MO numbers, quantities and batch numbers.
