Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods depending on menu created by dieticians for each meal of the day.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer.
• Cleans work surfaces after shift; wipes down counters and stores unused foods.
• Creates meals in large quantities using institutional cookware.
• Reads and follows menus and standardized recipes.
• Assists in the food service line to ensure diets are served as ordered.
