Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician to support our manufacturing operations producing premium windows, doors, and skylights. In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLC-based control systems, sensors, VFDs, and automated equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and partner with production and engineering on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring troubleshooting, repair and optimization of PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and breakdown response.
• Collaborate with production and engineering on continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and optimize PLC-based control systems, sensors and VFDs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with production/engineering on improvements.
