Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a part-time Commercial Cleaner for the 3rd shift in Sterling, VA. You will perform basic cleaning duties in high-traffic areas, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and restrooms, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

The role requires at least two years in custodial or related facility services, a high school diploma, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Minimum of 2 years in custodial or related facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move and rearrange furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
