Job summary

EVS PRO INC is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Professional Janitor for evening shifts, three days per week, in Elgin. This part-time role offers performance and referral bonuses with competitive pay.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of janitorial experience, and reliable transportation. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, and reporting to the manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Excellent stamina and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash daily.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and service restrooms; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
