Job summary

S.E.M. Haven, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CNA to support residents in daily living within our home. You will help with personal care, mobility, and engagement activities, promoting independence and resident choice.

As a member of the household team, you will participate in meetings and assist with routine tasks while upholding safety, cleanliness, and respectful interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Ohio, on the registry or eligible for testing.
• Training in food sanitation, housekeeping procedures, restorative nursing and resident activities.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Free from illegal use of drugs and free from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care and daily activities.
• Support food preparation and serving, cleaning spills, removing trash, transporting residents.
• Attend household meetings/learning circles and fulfill simple requests for residents.
• Maintain clean, orderly and presentable living and work areas.
• Treat residents, coworkers and visitors with respect at all times.
