Job summary

Oaks of Longview is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for evening shifts. You will provide compassionate resident care, assist with daily activities, and support a safe, warm living environment for our residents.

We value teamwork and excellent service. Must have a current CNA license and at least 6 months of experience. Full-time benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA license.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA class.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact and enthusiasm; relate to residents at their maturity level.
• Must be in good general health with emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, nursing care procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident ID before care or feeding to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside tables, and keep areas tidy.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and within resident reach.
• Other duties as directed by supervisory staff.
