Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved nursing assistant course
• California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - CA Department of Public Health - REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Assist admissions, discharges and transfers per unit procedures
• Prepare rooms and equipment for patient care and maintain infection control standards
• Support licensed nurses with delegated tasks and timely reporting
• Maintain patient privacy and safety and document care per unit standards
