Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Part Time Evening Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Souris Valley Care Center in Velva, ND. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with 8- and 12-hour shifts and differential options up to $3/hr. PT & FT staff may receive up to $12.50/hr extra for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to perform assigned tasks and meet requirements for in-services, training and meeting attendance; must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.
• Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Provide comfort, transportation and vital sign monitoring.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals and hydration and provide a positive dining experience.
• Document resident cares and behaviors according to policy, procedure and regulations.
• Handle linens and supplies with proper safety and PPE usage.
