Job summary

Bickford of Peoria is seeking an experienced Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily living, dignity, and compassionate care on an evening shift. This role offers comprehensive benefits and daily pay options on a full-time schedule.

You will follow individualized service plans, assist with activities of daily living, and communicate with branch leadership. You’ll also support residents with memory care needs in a warm, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training as state requires.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate appropriately with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

Education

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license

High School Diploma or GED

Willing to take additional training

CPR and First Aid certifications

Ability to multitask

Written and verbal communication

Organizational and time management

Good judgment and problem-solving
