Job summary

The New Jewish Home's Nursing Department on the Manhattan Campus is seeking full-time Certified Nursing Assistants on the evening shift to join our team. All CNAs should be able to work every other weekend.

The evening shift is 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, and CNAs provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, CNAs perform direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living to maximize independence and comfort for residents

Qualifications

• Current NYS Nurse Aide Registry certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year of long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident/patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living to maximize independence.
