Job summary

Baptist Health & Rehab, a Cassia community, is hiring a Level II Medication Assistant to join our care team in Bismarck, ND.

This Part-Time evening position offers a wage range of $23.08+ per hour, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and extensive shift incentives with opportunities for professional growth within Cassia.

You will prepare and administer medications, follow care plans, and assist with resident cares, while documenting vitals on our new software.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, valid CNA/Level II CMA licenses in North Dakota.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with compassion for elder care and adaptability.
• Ability to follow care plans and document vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Baptist Health & Rehab policies.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
• Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Perform other duties as requested.
